TIME BEAMThe milestones of the fashion group Prada form a long success story. The main brand Prada with the triangular emblem not only stands for unconventional luxury, the creative director Miuccia Prada hit the anti-fashion nerve of the nineties with her ugly chic – a trend that still inspires fashion labels to play with bad taste and bourgeoisie.

Since it was founded in 1913, the Prada Group has made a number of acquisitions and an IPO on its way to becoming a global corporation. The takeover of brands such as Jil Sander remained an unsuccessful interlude, but the group continued to define the zeitgeist with other brands such as Miu Miu or the reintroduction of the sporty line Prada Linea Rossa.

How did the Prada Group get to where it is today under the duo of Miuccia Prada and Lorenzo Bertelli? Use the arrows to navigate through the company’s evolution ahead of Prada’s show on Thursday, or click on an event on the gray timeline to find out more.
