Prada appoints Andrea Bonini as new chief financial officer

The Italian fashion group Prada SpA is filling three key positions in finance and law. On Wednesday, the company announced the appointment of Andrea Bonini as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The group announced that he would take up the post on May 2nd and be responsible for the departments of administration, finance, taxes, controlling and investor relations.

The experienced financial expert comes from the investment bank Goldman Sachs, where he worked since 2005. Most recently, he was in charge of the “Luxury and Brands” division in Europe in the Consumer Retail Group division.

At Prada, Bonini succeeds Alessandra Cozzani, who has headed the fashion house’s finance department since 2016. She will leave the company on September 30 to pursue other professional challenges, according to a statement.

At the same time, Prada announced two more newcomers. Cristina De Dona will head the group’s legal department as Group General Counsel. Diego Maletto is responsible for internal auditing. As Group Internal Auditing Director, he will report directly to the Chairman of the Board, Paolo Zannoni.
