Potato trader Landjuweel believes in the future of the beeper even after 100 years. ‘The time of the dumplings on our plates is really over’

Mountains of squeakers, in all kinds of colors and sizes, determine the image in the halls of potato company Landjuweel, which was set up in 1922 by Wolter Werkman. Initially he was involved in potatoes, vegetables and fruit, but in the sixties the company specialized completely in potatoes. Now more than 28,000 tons of potatoes are washed, sorted and packed annually in Oosternieland.
