PostNL stops with a note in the bus for a missed package | News

PostNL parcel deliverers are in about 9 percent of all cases at a house where the recipient is not at home. Usually they put a note in the mailbox stating that the package is at the neighbours, for example, but that is now coming to an end. In May last year, PostNL already warned recipients of parcels via digital means in some cases.

In addition to paper, PostNL also expects to save time by abolishing the paper note. The company also thinks that people who have ordered a package prefer to receive information via email or the app, because it is more up-to-date.
