Club Brugge has been dreaming of a brand new football temple for 40,000 supporters for eighteen years now. Due to procedural steps, rejected permits and negative environmental impact reports, the dream has become a real nightmare.
Club wants to build on the current Olympia site. The first environmental permit was annulled in February last year by the Council for Permit Disputes, also after protests from people in the area. Mobility had not been taken into account enough.
