Last Sunday, about 1.8 million people in the Netherlands watched Formula 1, estimates Stichting KijkOnderzoek (SKO). That is about 700,000 less than at the opening race last year. This is evident from figures that RTL Z has requested. According to a viewership analysis by media agency GroupM, compared to the opening of the Formula 1 season in Bahrain, there are even a million viewers ‘lost’.
