During a check by the police and the municipality, possible narcotics were found in a warehouse on the Atoomweg in Hoorn. The police cannot yet say whether it is a drug lab.
Around half past five this afternoon, several police cars came to a business premises on the Atoomweg in Hoorn. Because dangerous substances were found, the police could only enter the building after the arrival of the Hazardous Substances Advisor (AGS).
“The police are currently in the building. There are possible narcotics were found,” a police spokesperson confirms. “These drugs will be seized and secured.”

The spokesperson said that there will be more clarity after the weekend about the discovery of the narcotics and whether it concerns a possible drug lab. The owner of the building will have to answer to the police about how the narcotics got there.
