After the 4-0 defeat in Malta, the Azzurrini challenge the Lusitanians on the second day of the Under 19 European Championships: odds and forecast
Italy’s adventure at the Under 19 European Championships continues. After the debut with a victory over the hosts of Malta (4-0), the Azzurrini coached by Alberto Bollini are trying to detach the pass for the semifinals with one game to spare . To do so, however, they will have to score points against the other big names in group A, Portugal, who got the better of Poland 2-0 in the opening match. The Portugal-Italy kick-off is scheduled for 18.00 on Thursday 6 July 2023.
THE PREDICTION of Portugal-Italy Under 19
—
The second day is potentially decisive and can already give the first verdict of group A. The team that manages to win will in fact qualify for the semi-finals, while the loser will have to play everything in the last round. Portugal and Italy could decide not to get hurt, equalize and still put a good mortgage on the passage of the round. Starting from the advantage that Italy could enjoy, with the return of a jewel like Faticanti, the recommended combo mixes the double chance X2 with the Under 2.5: the odds are 2.47 on Betway, Novibet and Netbet. The threshold set on Vincitu is, however, 2.39.
Portugal-Italy Under 19, THE ODDS
—
As confirmed by the main betting sites, Portugal has an advantage for bookies. The sign 1, in fact, is worth 2.31 on Novibet, 2.37 on Betway, 2.40 on Netbet, 2.41 on Vincitu. Conversely, the eventual success of the Azzurri is able to pay up to 2.68 times the stake by opting for Vincitu (2.66 if Netbet is chosen instead). Finally, the tie oscillates between 3.06 of Netbet, 3.15 of Betway, 3.20 of Vincitu. As regards the number of goals, the Under team has an advantage over the Over team: the odds in the first scenario are 1.69 on Betway (1.75 on Netbet) against 1.90 in the opposite hypothesis (1.97 on Netbet). Lastly, the bookies are convinced that both national teams will score: the Goal is worth 1.74 on Novibet, against the 1.90 enjoyed by the possibility that, on the contrary, one of the two formations will run out of scores.
CAUTION?
—
The odds show a certain balance between the two competing teams, who could opt for a more conservative strategy: a draw would be a good result for qualification purposes. Therefore, a scenario that does not include too many goals is plausible, which is why another market to at least take into consideration is the Multigoal 2-3: it is worth 2.02 on Netbet, it remains at 1.95 on Vincitu. On Novibet, Goal + Multigoal 2-3 is worth 2.91.
