Portugal and Switzerland shared their trump cards in the last 16 round of the 2022 World Cup. The fight ended with Portugal’s 6-1 advantage.
Goncalo Ramos scored the winning goals for Portugal in the 17th, 51st and 67th minutes, Pepe in the 33rd, Raphael Guerreiro in the 55th minute and Rafael Leao in the 90+2 minutes. Switzerland’s only goal came from Manuel Akanji in the 58th minute.
After this result, Portugal advanced to the quarter-finals, while Switzerland said goodbye to the tournament in the last 15.
