For decades, Geert V. (70) was in charge as the only gynaecologist in the Torhout Sint-Rembert Hospital. Part of the young Torhout population was brought into the world by the retired doctor, who during all that time was praised for his sympathy and compliance. V. took charge and gained tons of confidence, which he eventually abused. And also in 2004 his pride came before the fall.
