Porsche at the start until at least 2026

Porsche is prematurely extending its commitment by two years and will be competing in the Formula E electric racing series at least until the end of the 2025/26 season.

The sports car manufacturer from Stuttgart announced this before the season finale this weekend in London. Porsche has been there since 2019.

“We want to bring innovative technologies and more sustainability to motorsport and be at the forefront of new developments,” said Thomas Laudenbach, Head of Porsche Motorsport. Formula E “plays a major role in this. The competition in this series is at an exceptionally high level and enables us to provide important impetus for future production models.”

Porsche is currently contesting its fourth Formula E season with the Porsche 99X Electric. With four wins so far by Pascal Wehrlein (Worndorf/3) and Antonio Felix da Costa (Portugal/1), it is the most successful since joining. The leader in the overall standings is Brit Jake Dennis from the Porsche customer team Avalanche Andretti.
