Pope Francis gives annual Easter message and once again reflects on war in Ukraine

Together with approximately 45,000 faithful, Pope Francis (86) celebrates Easter today in St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City. There he gave his annual Easter message. The pope spoke about the war in Ukraine for the second year in a row. Among other things, he asked for support for “the beloved Ukrainian people”. Francis also expressed his “concern” about the violence in the Middle East.
