Pope Francis, forced to suspend a speech for health reasons

“Thank you for this visit, which I appreciate very much, but it happens that I am not in good health, so I prefer not to read the speech, but rather give it to you to transmit it.” This is how the Pope expressed himself this Monday in the first audience broadcast in the Vatican press room, with the members of a delegation from the Conference of European Rabbis.

Pope Francis today has a busy schedule of personal meetings and public audiences. In the afternoon, a meeting is planned in the Paul VI Hall with 7,000 children from all over the world. I find that it could be suspended if the Pope confirms the Argentine pontiff’s health status.
