Pope Francis said he was considering a trip to Kyiv, reports Reuters.
On a flight from Rome to Malta, NBC News journalist Claudio Lavanga asked the pope whether he considers an invitation made by the Ukrainian political and religious authorities.
Francis replied: “Yes, it is being discussed.” The pontiff did not provide any details.
