Pope Francis complains about his unstable health.

“I have a problem on my knee that makes it difficult to walk,” the 85-year-old told journalists on Sunday on the return flight to Rome from his two-day trip to Malta. During his visit, the Holy Father visibly found it difficult to walk and needed help, for example to climb stairs.

“My health is so whimsical. But there’s no doubt that at my age you never know how the game will end,” said the Catholic Church leader. “Let’s hope it turns out well.”

The Pope has been plagued by difficulties with his right knee for a long time, which is why he recently had a bad limp.
