What a bash in the small town!
Pop singer Anita Hofmann (45) married radio presenter Christian Filip (48) in her hometown of Meßkirch near Lake Constance on Saturday. This was announced by a spokeswoman for the singer. Anita Hofmann is the sister of Alexandra Hofmann, both are known under the duo name Geschwister Hofmann.
According to the spokeswoman, the 45-year-old wore a white lace dress with a white lace veil at the ceremony in the Baroque Church of St. Martin, which lasted around an hour.
More than 500 guests attended the wedding – including 240 fans from Germany and neighboring countries. An extra celebration was organized for them in the afternoon, at which the bridal couple wanted to stop by for around half an hour, as the invitation stated. And on the subject of gifts to the bridal couple, it said in rhymed form: “Are you wondering and thinking, what should we give the bridal couple? You don’t need chocolates, flowers or wine. It could be a subsidy for a recording studio.”
Pop singer Patrick Lindner was also present at the wedding and celebration on Saturday, as the spokeswoman said. The civil marriage was on Friday in Messkirch. Anita Hofmann is an honorary citizen of the small town.

Anita Hofmann and Christian Filip actually wanted to get married last year. The wedding was postponed because of Corona. And another hurdle had to be overcome: the 48-year-old had been married before. He still had to have his church marriage annulled by the Pope.
