Pop singer Jenice survives dangerous car accident

Pop singer Jenice actually wanted to spend her Tuesday evening (October 31st) in the studio. She had no way of knowing that on her way there she would be involved in a collision involving several cars. Now the musician, whose real name is Franziska Czurratis, reports on her Instagram account about the accident in which 15 cars crashed into each other on the A2 near Bielefeld.

According to police, the weather conditions caused the collision, which involved a total of 19 people. The low sun and a surprising rain shower led to loss of control and resulted in seven injuries and one seriously injured. “I had a strong guardian angel myself,” explains Jenice in a recent Instagram post that shows photos of the scene of the accident. The 27-year-old, who apparently did not suffer any serious injuries, “was able to help the seriously injured on site.” The Red Cross then took them to the hospital. Those involved who were uninjured were first taken to a heated tent and later on a bus to Gütersloh train station, according to a DRK spokesman.

Jenice: Get your cell phone away from the wheel!

The pop singer apparently sees her experience as an opportunity to remind her community to keep their hands off their cell phones while driving – even if that wasn’t the reason for the collision. “Next time you’re behind the wheel, remember – keep your cell phone away from the wheel! A second of not paying attention can destroy a whole life or several!” said Jenice in her post.
