Simon de Wit (25), stage name Blanks, from Groningen can be seen in the new season of ‘Beste Zangers’.
In addition to Blanks, who grew up in Harkstede, who won a Music Moves Europe Award in January, Jaap Reesema, Ferdi Bolland, Nielson, Claudia de Breij, Sarita Lorena and Roxeanne Hazes are taking part in the fifteenth season of the popular television program.
This seven recently traveled to Seville, Spain, to record the programme. The participants perform each other’s songs, often preceded by a special story. All performances are accompanied by the Best Singers band led by Marcel Fisser. The presentation is in the hands of host, Jan Smit.
The new season can be seen in the autumn at AVROTROS on NPO 1.
