Pomellato Group appoints new product and marketing director

Boris Barboni has been appointed as the new Chief Marketing and Product Officer for jewelry brands Pomellato and Dodo.

He brings extensive experience in the luxury industry, the Pomellato Group announced on Friday. Before taking up his new position with the two brands, which belong to the luxury goods group Kering, he worked for the LVMH subsidiary Bulgari. There he first held the position of global marketing manager for the jewelry division. He then took over the markets of Spain and Portugal as Managing Director and then the same position for Italy and Turkey.

Barboni has also held various marketing and product development positions at companies such as Colgate-Palmolive, L’Oréal and Salvatore Ferragamo.

“I am confident that Boris, with his background and professional skills, will make an important contribution to strengthening the international positioning of our brands,” said Sabina Belli, Managing Director of Pomellato Group. “With his experience in product development, marketing and communications and his keen business acumen, Pomellato and DoDo will reach new heights.”

The French luxury goods group Kering took over the Pomellato Group with its Pomellato and Dodo brands in 2013.
