In the video she has posted, Polman does not want to tell everything yet. She keeps the ‘whole story’ to herself. The star would especially like to thank everyone who has supported her in Denmark.
“It’s been a great journey, nine years. I came here as a young girl and now I am leaving as a ‘grown up girl’. This is not the way I wanted to end. When I start something, I want to finish it. This is not the way I want to say goodbye. I want to let you know that you, Esbjerg, the fans, the volunteers have a special place in my heart.”
Polman was one of the big stars in Denmark. She remained loyal to the club for years, but ended up sidetracked this year despite an ongoing contract. Esbjerg wanted to get rid of her and that hurt the Dutch, she said earlier. It is not yet clear where the blonde will continue her career.
