National conservative Polish President Andrzej Duda wants to veto the 2024 budget law of the new government of liberal pro-European Prime Minister Donald Tusk. Duda announced this on Saturday on X, the former Twitter. He says he does this because of the tug-of-war over the reform of the public media after the change of power in Poland. “The public media must first be thoroughly restored in accordance with the law,” said Duda.
