A police van shot straight ahead on the A28 at the Westerbork exit near Beilen. The van ended up in the bushes.
There were two police officers and a detainee in the vehicle. The van probably fell off the road due to slippery conditions.
An officer and the detainee were taken to hospital. The other officer is being treated at the scene.
