The police are looking for dashcam images and other images of the public road that were taken on Wednesday, June 1, between 6.50 pm and 7.30 pm. The request includes images of the surroundings of Zonstraat and Hertogenlaan in Kerkrade, where Gino was last seen. Images of the surroundings of the swimming pool de Bende, where a scooter was found, and the surroundings of the Landgraaf district in Geleen are also being sought, as are the public roads between these locations.
“If you have images between the times mentioned and on the indicated route and places, it is urgent to share these images,” said the police.
9-year-old Gino disappeared from Kerkrade on Wednesday, where he was staying with his sister. He actually lived in Maastricht. A 22-year-old suspect from Geleen, Donny M., was arrested on Saturday. The boy’s body was found later that day.
