Nine activists of the last generation were stopped by the police in Berlin on Wednesday afternoon during a blockade demonstration.
They walked slowly on Straße des 17. Juni from Ernst-Reuter-Platz in the direction of the Victory Column and were pushed back onto the sidewalk by the police, officials said.
The action was classified as a non-reported rally, and the police recorded the demonstrators’ personal details.
