Lauren had reportedly crashed and then fled from the scene. When the police went to the couple’s apartment in the Los Angeles Eagle Rock area, Lauren came out of the apartment with a gun in his hand.

According to police, Lauren, 51, headed for a hand weapon towards them. Police asked Lauren to drop the weapon, but he did not believe. Police shot Lauren on the shoulder and was taken to the hospital.
Shriner told me To TMZ to his wife to be okay.
Lauren was arrested for the attempted murder.
Lauren and Shriner got married in 2005 and have two children.
Lauren has written two books. In 2010, he appeared as an autobiography Some girls: My Life in a Harem. In 2015, his second book appeared Everything You Ever Wanted.
Shriner has been a Weezer’s bassist since 2001. The band will perform this weekend at the Coachella Festival in California.
