According to the police, several addresses in and around Veldhoven may be involved in the illegal import and sale of puppies. Police do not rule out arrests.
The puppies had no passports or vaccination records, nor were they microchipped. “The puppies will first go to a secret location where they will be quarantined due to the risk of rabies (rabies),” the police said on Facebook on Wednesday evening. “There they will be medically examined and receive their vaccinations.”
The police are calling on people not to buy puppies that do not comply with the rules, and if in doubt to call 114.
