The police already searched the spot where the car of the missing Sanne and Hebe was found on Tuesday evening. The car was not found at the time, a police spokesman said.
Police have received hundreds of tips in recent days about where the missing 10-year-old and her 26-year-old companion might be, the spokesperson said. She also received tips about where the car was eventually found.
On Tuesday evening, police officers were looking for the black Kia Picanto at the Empel junction (A2/A59) near Den Bosch. “They had no view of the car. The location of the car was ultimately far from the tire tracks that could be seen.”
Police helicopter
On Wednesday, the police received new information, which prompted them to search this location again. A police helicopter from the national unit has been deployed for this purpose. “With a police helicopter, there is a better view of the terrain, they also use a camera and can see more.” The spokesperson cannot say what new information is involved.
Several people have reported to Omroep Brabant that they had previously tipped off the location to the police.
The investigation into exactly what happened is still ongoing. Police expect it to take a few more days. “A traffic accident analysis has been done, the investigation is now being continued together with the detectives.”
Big Quests
On Wednesday evening, the police already reported that the victims in the car were probably Sanne and Hebe. On Monday Sanne left Raamsdonksveer with the disabled girl in a black Kia Picanto.
She had picked up Hebe at a day center in Raamsdonksveer and would drive from there to Vught, where the girl lives. However, they never got there. The police launched major searches, supported by volunteer groups. An amber alert was also issued for the girl.
