Police: scooter rider wanted who stabbed a helpful man in the back | Inland

At around 2.15 am, the victim was walking his dog on the Langendijk when a scooter approached at high speed. The scooter, carrying a male driver and a female passenger, took a turn, causing the woman to fall from the vehicle. The man with the dog walked over to help her. The scooter rider then pulled a knife. He stabbed the pedestrian in the back. The man and woman then drove off.

The victim was treated in the emergency room and reported to the police. “It is striking that around the same time, the police received another report about a scooter rider who tried to stab someone when a female passenger fell off the vehicle,” the police said on Sunday. This time it happened on the Reeshofdijk. No one was injured in this.

Police are calling on witnesses or anyone with more information to come forward.
