Patrol officers rescued an eight-week-old kitten on the A5 near Achern. According to the announcement, they braked the traffic on Thursday and took care of the slightly injured four-legged friend, who was crouching between the lane and the central partition.

Traffic was briefly backed up on the autobahn in western Baden-Württemberg.

The kitten was finally handed over to the Achern Animal Welfare Association.
