The police raided various locations in Emmen this morning. Police teams are present at buildings on Flintstraat, Hoofdstraat and De Dillen.
The police will come later in the morning with more information about the raids. A spokesperson now only sticks to ‘several locations where research is being done’.
An arrest team appeared on Flintstraat around 7 a.m. That was at a car wash, which was cordoned off with black screens.
An arrest team also came to the Hoofdstraat in the center. Research is being conducted in the building that previously housed Magic Lounge. The municipality of Emmen closed shisha lounge Magic Lounge due to the lack of fire safety.
A house and garage boxes on De Dillen were also raided. Customs would also be present there.
