The police raided comedian Hans Teeuwen’s home on Tuesday and seized a possible fake pistol. The comedian has not been arrested, but may be interrogated later, the police report.
The gun was featured in a sketch that the Budelse prankster posted on his Instagram account. In it he mocks Amsterdam mayor Femke Halsema. The gun refers to five years ago, when her son was caught with a gun.
“Am I the only one who sees a gun lying around?” a follower responds. Three hours later, Teeuwen posts a video with the police, who show up on his doorstep with six men.
Confiscated
The gun has been confiscated. The comedian has not been arrested, but could be interrogated later.
