The person arrested last night in Westerbork after being involved in a stabbing incident is a 32-year-old woman from Hoogeveen. She stabbed a 34-year-old man from Hoogeveen in a catering building on Beilerstraat, who was then treated in an ambulance by ambulance personnel and later transferred to hospital.
The man and woman knew each other, according to police, although further investigation is needed to determine which situation ultimately led to the stabbing.
