After months of negotiations and various actions, a negotiator’s agreement has been reached on a new police collective labor agreement. Wages for police personnel will be increased by at least 8.5 percent for the period from January 1, 2022 to June 30, 2024. The police unions, minister Dilan Yesilgöz (Justice and Security) and chief of police Henk van Essen have reached an agreement, the unions report on Thursday.
