A parked car was completely burned out in a parking lot on Noorddammerlaan this afternoon. Police are investigating the charred wreckage, which appears to have been set on fire.
The fire in the parking lot of football club RKSV Roda ’23 was reported to the emergency services this afternoon around 2:40 p.m., a police spokesperson said. After the fire brigade extinguished the wreck, the police started an investigation.
Forensic investigation is looking for traces. Part of the parking lot was cordoned off for much of the afternoon for investigation. The wreckage has now been taken away by the police and the cordon has been lifted.
