The police raided a house on Tartinistraat in Tilburg on Saturday morning. This happened around a quarter past eleven, after a report that someone with a firearm had been seen there. One of those present tried to run away quickly when they saw the police, but they did not get far.
The officer had a hand on the gun when he knocked on the house, a 112 correspondent saw. A woman opened the door and was escorted out. A man was also taken from the house.
Escape through shed
The third person present tried to escape via the roof of a shed. He was stopped by the police. The man ultimately turned out to have nothing to hide, a police spokesperson explains. He was so shocked by the police at his door that he ran away.
The police found nothing suspicious in the house.
