In the Turkish region of Antalya, a Belgian tourist has been killed after she fell from a balcony in the hotel where she was staying. That is what various Turkish media write. Elena G. (45) was still taken to hospital, but died of her injuries. Police are investigating the circumstances of her death.
According to Haber Global, the drama happened at a hotel in the Incekum district of Alanya, one of the busiest resorts on the Turkish Riviera. The Belgian woman was on holiday when she fell from a balcony of her hotel room on the fifth floor, for an unknown reason.
After a report from the hotel staff, both the emergency services and the police arrived on the scene. They took the victim to a hospital, but Elena G. died of her injuries.
According to ‘Gerçek Alanya’, the police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the death. An autopsy will be performed on the body to determine the exact cause of death.
