Police intervene in protest action in Hoogeveen

The police intervened at the end of the evening at a protest in Hoogeveen. Protesters blocked an intersection of Mr. Cramerweg.

According to the participants, it was a protest against the nitrogen law. Earlier this week, the busy intersection in Hoogeveen was also blocked.

By 11 p.m., the police came into action to end the demonstration. Protesters were ordered to leave. Not everyone heeded that. The police eventually removed these people from the intersection. It is not known whether any activists have been arrested.
