Police in Bruges calls for aircraft items
In Sint-Andries, a pilot made an emergency landing on Torhoutsesteenweg on Friday afternoon. He and his plane escaped unscathed.
The pilot opened the parachute on the aircraft, causing him to land relatively softly. As a result of that maneuver, the aircraft descended vertically and items fell from the cockpit.
Since that landing took a while, the objects are probably scattered nearby. It was about an experienced pilot who probably made the right and safest choice by using the parachute. The aviation police has launched an investigation.
