The police are looking for the fugitive robber of the Jumbo at the Engelenburg in Haarlem. Tonight around 9.45 pm a man attacked the supermarket, after which he fled. There were no casualties during the robbery, it is unclear how many other people were in the supermarket.
With a helicopter and several units, the police are currently searching Haarlem for the robber. It is unclear how the man managed to escape. The police also cannot say how many people were in the store or whether the man took any loot.
Via Burgernet, the police are calling on the police to look out for a man wearing a light blue Deliveroo jacket, black Adidas pants and black shoes. If you see him, it is advised to call the police and not to approach the man yourself. He may be dangerous.
This branch of the Jumbo is often the target of robberies. For example, the supermarket was robbed by masked men in 2017 and three years later, in 2020, hit by a ram raid.
