Police fire warning shot at arrests in Den Bosch

The police fired a warning shot in Otto Copesstraat in Den Bosch on Sunday afternoon. The shot was fired when officers wanted to arrest four men.

Shortly before, the police had received a report that someone would be walking around in the street with a weapon. It is not clear why the man was walking around with a weapon. Because it was unclear which of the men had the weapon with him, no one wanted to cooperate and a threatening situation arose, the police fired a warning shot.

The police are continuing to investigate the weapon and why the weapon was threatened.

A local resident who was walking his dog saw about ten police officers and five police cars outside. “I didn’t hear a shot and I didn’t see the arrests,” said a local resident.
