Police end major search for traces of Maddie McCann, found material to Germany for investigation

For the third consecutive day, dozens of police officers from the Portuguese, German and British police searched for traces of the world-famous missing girl Madeleine McCann at the Arade reservoir in southern Portugal today. Trees were felled, photos were taken and material collected. In the meantime, the search – the largest search in years in the case – has ended. The collected material will be handed over to the German authorities.
