Police officers turned out en masse to Zeijen tonight, after they received a report of a robbery at a home around ten o’clock.
This would have taken place on Main Street. Officers cordoned off the village, but a number of police cars left urgently again just after half past ten. According to a spokesman, it is not yet clear what happened at the house on Main Street. The police are investigating.
Earlier in the evening there was also a report of a home robbery in Veenoord. Someone was arrested there.
