The police made a cute catch in Sprang-Capelle on Saturday morning: a stray goat. The officers put the animal in the police van and took him to the station.
The goat was found on the Vermeerstraat after a report from a local resident. There, according to the police, the animal took an extensive morning walk. “To our surprise, the suspect cooperated with us and took a seat in our heated bus,” one of the officers writes on Instagram. According to the police, it was a ‘tame animal’ that was easy to catch.
The goat was temporarily kept in a bicycle shed at the police station. The officer reported with a wink that the animal had no proof of identity, because a tag or ear number was missing. But that turned out not to be too much of a problem. Later in the day, the goat was picked up by the owner who had lost the animal.
