On Wednesday and Thursday, groups of militants attacked anti-vaxers successively visited the GGD test location in Heerlerheide and the vaccination location on Palemigerbord. There they vigorously demanded that employees read a piece of paper, while they accused the GGD staff of ‘genocide’ and threatened tribunals.

There was also pushing and pulling. A video of the second confrontation caused a lot of indignation, not only among the GGD and mayor Roel Wever, but also among the public. On Saturday afternoon, a number of people in Heerlen held a solidarity demonstration to encourage GGD people.

According to Mayor Wever, a report was immediately filed against the antivaxers on Thursday. On Friday, one of them also reported to the police station, but according to her, her counter-notification was not included.
