Police and family are looking for a missing boy (6) at a recreational lake

The police are searching with all their might for the 6-year-old boy who is missing at recreational lake De Lithse Ham in Lith. Sonar boats have been deployed and a police helicopter is circling over the area. The boy’s family is also looking for the puddle. The police previously shared a photo and the name of the boy.

At the recreational lake, a group of ten family members are looking for the boy Abdyrahman Ashirov. He comes from Turkmenistan, a former Soviet republic bordering Iran, and lives in an emergency shelter in Oss.

The police are considering several scenarios. “It is unclear what happened to him. He may have walked into the water, but could also be elsewhere in the area,” a police spokesman said.

Abdyrahman was playing on the beach and disappeared around 6.30pm Wednesday night. The police write that he may have walked in the direction of the water. After that he was not seen again. He wears gray short swimming trunks with two vertical red stripes on both sides. The boy is on foot.

Playing on the beach
On Wednesday evening, the area around the Lithse Ham was combed, divers searched the water and the police helicopter was also deployed. The Veterans Search Team also helped. The search was called off at 4 a.m.

To the other side
On Wednesday evening, a 54-year-old man also disappeared in recreational lake E3 beach in Eersel. He was also searched in vain for him. According to the man’s family, he wanted to swim to the other side of the puddle, but he never got out of the water.

The search for the man will continue on Thursday. The E3 beach is temporarily closed due to the missing man.
