Poland has decided to ban the import of Russian coal, said government spokesman Piotr Muller. He also noted that Warsaw can no longer wait for the corresponding decision of the European Union.
“We have proposed rules that block the import of coal from Russia at the country level. This will be written into the law, ”Müller explained (quoted from Gazeta Prawna).
He noted that the country would not allow the import of Russian coal from private individuals either. “Financial sanctions will be provided for violation of the ban, the customs service will deal with the check,” the spokesman threatened.
