Poland registers more than 620,000 refugees from Ukraine

About 624,500 people have entered Poland from Ukraine since the Russian invasion, the Polish Border Guard said. Recently, up to 100,000 people cross the border into the EU country every day.

Residents of Ukraine are also looking for a safe haven in other neighboring countries, but they mainly move to Poland. The Polish border guard registered about 99,200 people on Thursday. By 7 a.m. Friday, more than 25,000 refugees had crossed the border.
