Poland will no longer receive Russian gas from Wednesday morning, because the country refuses to pay the bill in Russian rubles. Russia’s Gazprom has informed the Polish state gas and oil company PGNiG. It is unclear whether Russia will take the same step if other countries refuse to pay in rubles.
