Long transition period
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki thinks the import restrictions on Russian synthetic rubber, which is used for tire production, do not go far enough. After all, at the request of Italy, a long transition period would be provided, which Poland refuses.
According to EU diplomats, the matter must now be clarified between Morawiecki and his Italian counterpart Giorgia Meloni. Both their parties are part of the same conservative group in the European Parliament.
