Former Italian biathlon star Patrick Oberegger has been the head coach of the Norwegian women’s team for years. Not least thanks to the South Tyrolean, the Norwegians have celebrated numerous successes since then. As his contract in northern Europe expired, there was also speculation about a possible move to Italy. Oberegger’s future is now clear.
